IFSA 2020 Early Notification


The IFSA committee have commenced planning for the 7th Conference on Industrial Fluidization, South Africa. The conference is tentatively scheduled for October / November 2020. More details will be posted in the coming months as the planning progresses.

Short Course on Fluidization 

3 October 2017


The Fluidization Short Course will be held a day before the conference, and will be hosted by a group of local and international experts in the field. As part of the course, the delegates will be given an overview of the fundamental concepts of fluidization, followed by an introduction to equipment design and modelling. The afternoon presentations will focus on fluidization applications such as pyrolysis, combustion and gasification, as well as chlorination.

The Short Course has proven popular in the past, and seats are limited.

For local delegates, Lanseria airport is the closest airport to Glenburn lodge.
